Undergraduate degree in Geology from University of Illinois (with Honors Thesis). Graduate degree in Engineering and Graduate Business (terminal management degree) from Stanford University. Many years serving on a Stanford alumni investment committee that generated unrestricted funds for the school.

Lifelong passion for learning and for encouraging and empowering young people. Considerable breadth & depth of knowledge in history, literature and writing composition. Published author of numerous books and scholarly articles (www.freedomhistory.com). Over thirty years of tutoring & mentoring with success. Wide range of clients ranging from pro bono in the inner city to the children of wealthy Chinese sent to the US for school. First ever client is now an upper-level executive in Europe. A number of former clients went on to graduate from top universities. Recent clients include a young man, who grew up homeless, who earned his MBA and a high school student, who came to me with a D in APUSH and ended the term with an A at one of the area's top high schools. Among my current clients is an immigrant targeting Ivy League admission and two brothers, who are top students in AP math and science but need assistance in history, literature and writing composition.
