I am currently a sophomore at Luther College, a liberal arts school in Decorah, Iowa. I am majoring in International Studies and History with a minor in Spanish. The liberal arts education has given me tremendous insight regarding reading, writing, and critical thinking.
Experience
Spanish: I have been studying Spanish for over 7 years. At Eden Prairie High School, I went through Spanish 6 with all A's and have now taken several high level classes at college. I have been to Spain, Costa Rica, and Mexico. I am very familiar with the EPHS Spanish department and how to succeed in Spanish. History: I am a history major at Luther College. I have completed many courses on European history, Islamic history, and American history. In high school, I took all of the AP history courses so I am very familiar with how to prepare for tests or do well in the class. I find that getting together with another person and discussing historical events and their significance is the best way to contextualize a sea of information.

In my free time I like to go camping and fishing. I also play competitive ultimate frisbee. I also love to travel. I have been to quite a bit of Europe and Central America. In the fall of 2016 I will be studying abroad in Granada, Spain.
